LARRATE TRAIL 14KM
Route Map 14k
A 13.50 km route with 450 m of elevation gain, ideal for runners looking for a greater challenge whilst retaining the essence of trail running. It begins with 1 km of urban and wide track running before tackling, at the 2 km mark, a climb along a trail with gradients of up to 28% to Las Antenas, followed by a technical descent through the trees. Between km 3 and 4, tracks and trails alternate with several ups and downs, notably the technical descent along the firebreak. The route continues towards La Rabosera, with a climb to the Cueva de los Rabosos at km 6, one of the race’s most distinctive landmarks. At km 7, the route follows the Pinarico trail, but 300 metres further on, it turns right to tackle a climb up a narrow forest track, surrounded by native flora, leading to the Mirador de Figarol. From there, the route descends along the enjoyable Atalaya path and, at the end, turns right to begin the ascent along the beautiful, winding Yerri path, a 1 km stretch with a 100 m elevation gain. After a descent along a path, the route joins the final kilometre along a wide track and urban route to the finish line.
