The 9th edition of the Larrate Trail is now underway, and this year brings some new features.

Larrate Trail is a UTMB Index Race, which means that your result in our race can contribute a UTMB Index score to your profile. This score is used to assess your performance in that race and, together with results from other events, helps build your UTMB Index – an indicator that allows you to compare the level of trail runners worldwide. For those of you who are already part of this scene, there’s probably no need to explain much more. And for those of you just starting out, it’s a simple way to start building up your track record and find out where you stand in the world of trail running.

But this year we want to take things a step further.

We’re preparing a new Larrate Trail, with fresh ideas and a few surprises that we’ll be revealing bit by bit.

We can’t say too much just yet… but we can tell you that the 9th edition won’t be just another race.

We want to keep growing, keep improving and, above all, we want you to enjoy our race even more.
